Calling all Schools to Help Transform Trash into Art

World renowned Artist George Sabra and Keep Austin Beautiful need your help in transforming trash into art. Sabra’s sculpted creations are one of a kind— each a true original.

This year, Sabra will be building another sculpture to be unveiled at First Night Austin 2012. In order to complete the sculpture, he will need nearly 40,000 pieces of plastic. Schools are invited to collect plastic bottle caps. To add an element of friendly competition, KAB will be hosting a pizza or ice cream sundae party for the class that collects the most caps.
