3/2014: FREE in-classroom sustainable foods workshop for elementary students

ATTN Elementary School Teachers:

forwarded from the Sustainable Foods Center's Grow Local School Garden Manager, Bianca Biduic

"...an opportunity for your students to learn more about sustainable foods in an interactive manner. A UT student group known as Texas Enactus is interested in providing a workshop to promote healthy food choices and composting to elementary students. They hope to schedule a visit to select elementary schools during the month of March. They will set up and use their own curricula in your classroom space. If you have any availability on your schedule (roughly 1.5 hours during a class day) for Texas Enactus to host a workshop, please contact TexasEnactus@gmail.com. Any questions can be sent to the aforementioned email.

Thanks and happy gardening!
